A Fine Maine August

Ah, August in Maine! Where else would you want to be? I'm in the middle of a new songwriting class through Berklee College and learing all about melody. What a blast! My song "The Banjoman" made it on the radio this week again and I've got to say it was a bit strange hearing my voice through the transistors. My friend Don, the banjoman, came off the Applachian Trail on
Friday and joined us for The Happy Hour gig. Also, the youngster Tyler joined us on a few songs too. An up and coming star...What a fun night! On Saturday, I performed at the Mile of Art show in UMA. It's an art festival that weaves itself through some wooded paths on the University grounds. (Thanks to Holland Hughes for the new photos.) I got to perform all my original music for 3 hours and met so many nice people during the day. Sold some CD's. On Sunday, I played a wedding celebration with a bunch of music friends. Life is good. This week we're at the campground and a private party on the weekend, and, of course, the Friday night Happy Hour.

I don't want to go home.....cause it's Friday night...talk with you soon...

Hi, Nicole! Thanks for the photo feedback. We really enjoy getting photos from the fans. Tom loves the up close and personal interaction with the audience, and it shows.
