News for the New Year

It’s a new year for hopes and dreams. Winter in Maine is different this year and even the birds seem to be confused. Oil bills are going down which leaves more disposable income for live music. Since we last spoke I’ve gone in the studio and put together a demo of some new songs that I’m excited about. I’m always writing and it brings a healthy perspective to my life. I’ve performed at the Acoustic Coffeehouse in Portland a few times. It’s a wonderful venue for original music and had the good fortune of being joined by my musical brothers Steve Woodard on bass and Dave Wakefield on saxophone. I performed at a couple of private parties over the holidays with my long time musical partner Don Roak. That was loads of fun, too. We continue to perform on the Friday night Happy Hour at The Wharf in Hallowell, ME. We put together a roster of performers at the gig over the last year and we’ve listed over 60. What a blast! A special thanks to Archie for starting this venue four years ago, just by sitting on a stool and singing songs. Lastly, I did my first TV interview and performance on a local station in Lewiston. We’ll stream some of it on the web-site soon. Stay cool, happy, healthy and forever young…….
